Based at Costello Stadium, Kingston upon Hull Athletics Club is the premier track, field and road running club in the area. The club has over 300 members, from young athletes to experienced veterans, and a variety of athletics disciplines.
Costello Stadium features a 400-metre all-weather synthetic track built to international standards, ensuring both optimal performance and safety. The 8-lane track is complemented by a full range of field event facilities, making it suitable for a wide variety of athletic activities, and includes dedicated areas for -
- long jump
- high jump
- pole vault
- the throwing disciplines
Facilities include -
- Outdoor athletics track with jumping and throwing areas
- 50-metre, 6-lane indoor straight track, perfect for sprinting and hurdles
- Indoor throwing cage fo discus, hammer, and shot put
- Clubhouse, situated near the track
