Swimming at Ennerdale Leisure Centre
We urge customers to check the timetables before attending. We ask all people going swimming to be considerate of others and to ensure that they have read the pool safety (including pool behaviour) rules.
At certain times we may experience larger than normal numbers of customers wishing to swim. This means that there may be queues for popular swimming times. We apologise for any delays, and thank you for your patience and understanding.
Swimming lessons
We offer both after school and education swimming lessons at Ennerdale Leisure Centre.
Booking a fitness class
Fitness Classes can be booked online, by phone or at reception. The easiest way to book is online and both members and non-members can book online using the button underneath.
Booking is up to 8 days in advance for members and 7 days in advance for non-members.
For non-members using our online portal, select the Sign-Up button to register your details and pay for a casual session.
You can book a fitness class by using the button below or by calling Ennerdale Leisure Centre reception on 01482 331 136. Be advised that call waiting times will be longer than usual so we do suggest you book online.

Junior and family gym sessions
Juniors and families can access the fitness suite at Ennerdale Leisure Centre.
Gym inductions
If you are new to Hull Culture and Leisure facilities and wish to use one of our fitness suites, ensure that you visit our Gym Induction page prior to visiting.
The video will provide you with the essential information required to use our fitness suites. Should you require a more in-depth induction, ask at reception when you visit one of our leisure facilities.
Sauna and steam facilities
There is no need to pre-book, you can walk up and use our sauna and steam facilities.
Our opening times are -
- Mondays 8.15am to 9pm
- Tuesday to Thursday 8.15am to 9.30pm
- Fridays 8.15am to 9pm
- Weekends 9am to 3.30pm
The sauna and steam facilities are closed for cleaning from -
- 1pm to 2pm on Wednesdays (steam cabin)
- 2pm to 3pm Wednesdays (sauna)
