Hull Culture and Leisure are proud to work with Hull City Council and its partners on the Healthy Holidays Summer programme for 2025. Funded by Hull City Council and the Department of Education as part of the Holiday Activities and Food programme, Healthy Holidays Summer 2025 offers a range of different free and low-cost activities for young people and families across the summer holidays. Below you'll be able to find our Healthy Holidays sessions and more!
Places on our booked sessions are limited, so make sure you secure your place here! Please make sure to mention any allergies or dietary requirements in your booking as a free packed lunch is provided on all our booked courses.

Bring the whole family along for a session full of fun and games everyone can enjoy together! Designed especially for families with children aged 7 and under, this is a SEND child friendly session.
Thanks to the Healthy Holidays Activities and Food Programme, all junior participants will receive a free packed lunch to keep their energy up throughout the day.

Each week brings a brand-new animal-themed adventure, with exciting crafts, games, and nature activities designed to spark curiosity and creativity.

Use natural materials to create your own magnificent works of art.

Week 6: Recycling Crafts
Let your creativity shine with eco-friendly crafts using scrap and recycled materials.

Free Keeper Talks Daily:
Animal Education Centre: 11:30am & 2:30pm.

Stretch, breathe, and relax together with our Family Yoga session!
Junior yoga offers a gentle, playful introduction to yoga for children, blending fun physical postures, breathing exercises, and mindfulness – all in an age-appropriate and supportive setting.
Open to children aged 8 to 15, with each child welcome to bring one accompanying adult.

Get moving together in this fun and energetic dance fitness session designed especially for families!
Led in a friendly, inclusive environment, this session is all about getting active, having fun, and enjoying music and movement as a family.
