There are seasonal paddling pools and water play areas for families and children located at parks and playing fields across Hull.
Paddling pools are located at the following parks and playing fields. See below opening times for summer school holidays (from Saturday 20 July) -
- Alderman Kneeshaw - opened for the season / 10am to 5pm Monday to Sunday
- Ings Park - opened for the season / 10am to 5pm Monday to Sunday / Currently closed due to technical issues. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause. We let you know as soon as the fault is fixed and it is re-opened.
- Oak Road - opened for the season / 10am to 5pm Monday to Sunday (staffed) / Currently closed due to technical issues. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause. We will let you know as soon as the fault is fixed and it is re-opened.
- West Park - opened for the season / 10am to 5pm Monday to Sunday (staffed)
No booking required. Just turn up and enjoy!
Bude Park and Pickering Park remain closed pending improvement works.
Important notices for all of our water play areas and paddling pools -
- appropriate footwear must be worn when using the East Park water play area and at Oak Road paddling pools

The facility features seating and a toilet block. The water play area boasts 43 water jets providing a mixture of different play features that include -
- rooster tails
- geysers
- ground gushers
- spray caps
