October Half Term Holiday Activities
This October Half Term, Hull Culture and Leisure are offering a range of different free and low-cost activities for young people and families across the week. Below you'll be able to find out just what is on offer.

Swim Improver Courses
Improve your swimming this Half Term with our Junior Swim Improver Courses!
These are open to any child, 5-15, who is keen to develop their skills, the course is £26 and includes access to our public swimming across half term!
Courses run from Monday to Friday throughout Half Term at Albert Avenue Pools & Fitness and Woodford Leisure Centre.

Free Junior Swimming
Our free junior swimming sessions are back this October Half Term. No booking needed, just turn up during the session, check in with our receptionists and enjoy your swim. These sessions can be busy, so we recommend arriving before the session start time.

Please note that all children aged under 8 years must be accompanied by a paying adult. Please ensure you visit our swimming safety page to check the adult to child pool ratios for our swimming pools before you visit.
Girls Football Camp with Hull City Ladies
Hull City Ladies are running girls football camps at Woodford Leisure Centre and Costello Stadium for girls aged 6 to 12 years old. We’ve got a fun packed schedule including professional coaching for improving technical and tactical skills.

Spooky, Halloween Craft Sessions
Visit us at the Animal Education Centre at East Park or Pickering Park Aviary this October Half Term to take part in one of our fun filled, Halloween themed, spooky craft sessions. Come along and join in our Batty about Bats learning session; take part in a variety of fun-filled bat-themed activities and see some of your creations displayed in our Learning Centres.
There are also a variety of autumn-themed animal crafts for our younger visitors to enjoy.
