May Half Term Activities

Free Junior Swimming 

Our free junior swimming sessions are back. No booking needed, just turn up during the session, check in with our receptionists and enjoy your swim. These sessions can be busy, so we recommend arriving before the session start time. 

 

Woodford Leisure Centre 

• Tuesday 27 May 11am to 12 noon 

• Friday 30 May 11am to 12 noon

Beverley Road Baths 

• Tuesday 27 May 10am to 11am 

Albert Avenue Pools 

• Friday 30 May 10am to 11am 

Please note that all children aged under 8 years must be accompanied by a paying adult. Please ensure you visit our swimming safety page to check the adult to child pool ratios for our swimming pools before you visit. 

Ice Skate at Hull Ice Arena

Looking for a fun activity with friends and family this Half Term? Why not try ice skating!

Visit our timetable here to access all our sessions.

No need to book, just turn up and skate. Ice Skate Admission is £12 (including skate hire). 

Animal Education Centre

 

• Free ‘Parrot facts’ trail.
• Pay-for-craft event on Monday- Friday from 10:30am until 2:00pm. No need to book.

-Decorate a ceramic bird feeder: £4.50

-Decorate a bird suncatcher: £2.00

-Decorate a Rainforest animal magnet: £1.00

• Free drawing and colouring activities, when the craft event isn’t running

Pickering Park Aviary

• Free ‘Parrot facts’ trail.
• Pay-for-craft event on Friday from 10:30am until 2:00pm. No need to book.

Free Keeper Talks Daily:  

Animal Education Centre: 11:30am & 2:30pm.  

Pickering Park: Watch a meerkat feed and keeper talk at 1:00pm.
