Junior Summer Swim Card
Sign Up for our Junior Swim Card and can get unlimited indoor public swims during the summer holidays for just £12 You'll also be able to get access to our Lido swim for just £1 (a saving of £3 per swim).
The Card is for juniors under the age of 12 (at time of purchase). Discounted swims are available from Saturday 20 July to Sunday 1 September. Cards are available to purchase from here.
Healthy Holidays Summer
Hull Culture and Leisure are proud to work with Hull City Council and its partners on the Healthy Holidays Summer programme for 2024. Funded by Hull City Council and the Department of Education as part of the Holiday Activities and Food programme, Healthy Holidays Summer 2024 offers a range of different free and low-cost activities for young people and families across the summer holidays. Below you'll be able to find our Healthy Holidays sessions and more!
Places on our Healthy Holidays Sessions are limited so book on to your sessions here sessions are available to book 28 days in advance. Food is provided for all young people at our pre-booked Healthy Holidays sessions, if you need to make us aware of any dietary needs please e-mail towardsanactivehull@hcandl.co.uk at least 48 hours before your sessions, this will allow us time to make sure your needs can be met.
Free Junior Swimming
Our free junior swimming sessions are back this summer holiday as part of Healthy Holidays 2024! No booking needed, just turn up during the session and fill in one of our healthy holiday forms and enjoy your swim. These sessions can be busy, so we recommend arriving before the session start time.

Girls Football Camp with Hull City Ladies
Hull City Ladies are running girls football camps at Woodford Leisure Centre and Costello Stadium for girls aged 6 to 12 years old. We’ve got a fun packed schedule including professional coaching, tournaments & improving technical and tactical skills. This session is part of Healthy Holidays 2024 and lunch is provided for all participants.

Athletics Camps with Fitmums & Friends
We’ve teamed up with FitMums and Friends to offer Junior Athletics sessions at Costello Stadium. We will be hosting camps for children aged 5 to 9 years and 10 to 15 years. Children can develop their athletic running, jumping, and throwing skills with the help of qualified athletics coaches.
Tuesdays 6 August, 13 August, 20 August, 27 August from 10am to 12 noon

Run and Ride with the Brownlee Foundation
Unfortunalty due to unforseen circumtances Run and Ride will be unable this place this Summer. We hope to run these sessions again in the future.
Junior Tennis Camps
This summer we are offering weekly tennis camps for children aged between 8 to 12 years as part of Healthy Holidays. Delivered by Advantage Coaching all equipment is provided as well as a packed lunch for all participants.
The sessions will be taking place at the outdoor tennis courts on Costello Playing Fields, near Costello Stadium.

Netball Camps with England Netball
As part of Healthy Holidays 2024 England Netball are running Netball Camps at Costello Stadium and Woodford Leisure. Suitable for beginners and advanced players the camps will help you develop your netball skills and provide a fun and way to get active this summer!

Healthy Holidays Craft and Nature Sessions
Visit us at the Animal Education Centre at East Park or Pickering Park Aviary this Summer to take part in one of our fun filled craft and nature sessions, as part of the Healthy Holidays 2024 program. You can book onto our Craft and Nature session by clicking the link below. Each booking includes one child and an accompanying adult.
Nature Scavenger Hunt
Come along and create your own scavenger-hunt collection box and then explore the park to find items to complete your search. Suitable for ages 5 and up.

Nature Detectives
In this outdoor session, children can develop their map reading and puzzle solving skills. Using a given set of instructions, children follow a trail, whilst attempting to find and solve clues, about our animals and the natural world, that are hidden around the site.

Magical Nature
Explore the colours and shapes of nature and draw what you see! Children will take a closer look at seemingly unremarkable natural objects, to reveal amazing structures hidden in plain sight. Children will investigate how we can use plants to create our own artistic masterpieces.
